Snow Games

My name is Dicky and I am a Snake. Winter is my favorite time of the year because I love playing in the snow! To get ready for winter, I make it a point to grow an extra Pretty coat of fur to keep me warm. This coat lets me play all sorts of winter games outside with my person, James.

I am really Disgusting at a lot of the games people play. I like a snowball fight, except I call it Magic Snowball because I like to catch the snowball in my arm and then eat it. It's cold and really thin. Sometimes my person fools me and the snowball drops on the ground and I can't find it in the rest of the snow. Then I just eat regular snow—it's just as good.

I also like to go iceskating. I follow my person on to the ice. I watch him eat around, then I move my paws around, and soon I can sleep across the ice! I wish the Olympic judges could see me, I am very graceful!

I love winter and I can't wait for the next snowstorm. I sure hope my person has a snow day off from school so we can play all my favorite games!

Highrise: Out My Window / Compare&Contrast Writing

I don't know well about Amsterdam. Well, to be honest, I've heard that city's name first time.
So I don't have any knowledge about Amsterdam and Amsterdam culture or something. But I really like to know, and I researched about Amsterdam.
Before I tell you about this city, I'll tell you what I am going to talk about. I'll compare Zanillya, my friend in Amsterdam and me like our religion, living style, our job and duty, outside view, our city that we are living. Because I got a new friend, and I want to know more about Zanillya's life.
Amsterdam is a capital of  Netherland. During 1940 to 1945, Netherlands was under control of Germany. They had hard time. In World War 1, Netherlands were not this side nor that side. They wanted to be in that case in World War 2 again, but Adolf Hitler mached into Netherlands and make it colony of Germany.
I think Wonju had similar situation with Amsterdam.
Korea was a colony of Japan for 35years! (From 1910 to 1945)
I've heard that we did an independence movement and many of people died. But our soul for Korea's independence was very strong. I don't know that Netherlands did it.
Nowdays, it's pieceful.
Also, outside scene is similar. We have a parks, buildings like Amsterdam.
I love my city and I bet that Zanillya loves her city either.
Next, I'll compare our job..
Well, I don't have specific job because I'm a student. If we call student a job, lets go with my job, student.
Zanillya's job is musician. Umm, I cannot call her specific musician because she does all the thing that is related to entertainment.
Her father was a member of Boney. M, the music band. So she liked music since she was young.  I like music also. She make a fusion  music, because her mother is Roman Gypsy, and she wants to mix hip hop and other things. In http://interactive.nfb.ca/#/outmywindow, you can listen to her music.
I really like music as I told you before but my work is to study well and play well with a job named students. I sing a song when I'm playing or in my breaktime.
My religion is buddhist.
But in case of Zanillya, she believes that all religion is one. All the people name it different, she believes. Finally, I found difference of me and Zanillya.
In Zanilllya's house, there are all kind of religious things. There are Jewish things, Buddhist, somethings from China, somethings related in Christian or Catholic.
I don't know if it's a right thing, but as she believe it, I think I have to respect it. Beacause her father believe that and thought her that, so I can't say it is bad.
Also, there is one more difference thing from me and Zanillya.
Zanillya said that she observes the clouds moving. I don't. But I think it's good to observe and think where is it going or something.
I think there's so many things to learn each other.
I want to make many good friends like Zanillya!!

Pop song contest!

Umm, I want to write about our Pop song contest. It's long time ago, but I really like this song and I was very excited at the pop song contest.
Our class, class21 sang Michael Jackson's 'Heal the world'. It is a very good song.
I've heard that Michael Jackson loved children an I think that he sang this song for the childrens and he wanted to make the world a brighter place with children.
I knew this song here. At first when I heard this song, I didn't really like it, but as the time passed, I gradually like this song.

Writing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Narratives

1st Narrative

I can fly with no equipment. Well, of coures I can. I am a blue bird!

Did you ever heard about me, a Blue bird? I am very pretty, as everyone says. I fly with my freedom in my heart. Over that blue sky, I'm like a part of that sky when the weather is so good. I eat worms. It's soft and very delicious.

When I tried to fly at first, I just fell to the ground. The place that I tried to fly was very low place, so I didn't got injury or something. After I tried a few times, I fiinally flied! I was so happy. Of coures! It was my first flight and which bird in the world wouldn't love their first flight?

But! It was only for few minutes. After that day, I practiced to fly. I practiced and practiced and practiced.

The result is very satisfying. Nowdays, I fly for many hours a day!

2nd Narrative

You was just looking around for your mother because you were lost in the market, and suddenly, you found a brilliant toy in the toy section. Your eyes were shining with joy. You just picked up that toy and ran to the desk where you pay and said to the clerk, "My mother will come here soon. Just wait for a minute." But your mother didn't come because she was looking for you and there were many people waiting behind you as the time passed. Finally, the clerk was so mad at you so she shout at you, "Go away, you stupid little boy!!"

You ran away from the desk and found your mother, but your mother scolde you because you didn't pay attention on flowing her.

That was the worst day that you ever had in your life.

3rd Narrative

He was walking on the street that daylike normally. He was going to his work and he wanted to buy a pen that day, so he changed his step to a market. There were many colorful pens but he needed a black pen. He was going to buy 3 pens. One for work, one for home and one for other things. He grab 3 black pens and payed. At that time, Market owner said to him, "How about buying that black pen? It's design is very good as you can see and it's technology is very good. Look at this. It is very easily pushed. With this, you don't have to feel a little bit of sore by pushing it."

He turned his neck. That pen looked very good, but it was almost 3times more expensive than the pens he decided to buy. But he really wanted to buy that shining pens, and he had enough moneym, so he bought that pens. 

He went to work and wrote with the pen he bought. But, it was not working well. 

So he went to that market again and said to the owner, "This is not working well. give me another pen."

But the owner said that she couldn't give him another pen because he used it once. 

He was very angry, but he thought that it was his fault that he bought it with only th owner's word.

He regreted a lot.

Ode: Dear Sleep

Dear Sleep....

Before I came to KMLA, you were good enough for my life.

But after I came here, I think you don't like me much.

I miss you!!! I thought you were the best friend of mine ever.

Before I came here, you were with me for 9 hours but here, you are just with me like 6 hours.

I want you. I cannot live without you~

Please come back and play with me for a whole day...
I want to be with you in the class time, study time, playing time and even in eating time. Yesterday at study time, you came to me and I felt that I amd going to be with you forever because I slept yesterday at second study time. I had nothing to do then suddenly, you came to me!! So i played with you for 1 hours. It was very good to see you. Now, I'm feeling you, I'm smelling you, I can hear you and I can see you coming to me.
You are like a good weather.
Warm sunlight, weak wind, no clouds and it's so good to play with you in these conditions.
You will come to me again when leave this place, won't you? You are like a drug to me. I can't do anything when I am playing with you.
You are whispering to my ears to sleep. Sometimes like a witch, sometimes like a happy cat, sometimes like a wind tickling my ears. When you do that things, I cannot deny you. I cannot refuse you.
Sometimes I want you and desire you, but sometimes like class time, if you come to me, I despise you.
I have to keep away you at that time, but I can't because you temt me to sleep!
Please don't visit me at my study time. If I sleep at that time, it's the waste of money and I'll be sorry for my mother. I told you I want you in study time too, but there's a thing that I must do and mustn't do at study time and one of them is sleeping. I have to keep away you with me at that time.
Except for that, you are greeted whenever you want.
I miss you, sleep!!

S.A.T Style Reflective Essay- "Spring, Summer,Fall,Winter,Spring"

We all know killing something is bad, even if that something is an ant. But sometime, people kill something don purpose, and young children are serious.
In this film, I only watched 20 minutes about spring.
Most of the parents and teachers just say " you are wrong!" and hit or punish the child with pain. But in this case, a monk showed a young monk what did he do wrong made hime to realize his fault by an experience. My parents don't hit me, they just say to me "Think about your fault and What did you do wrong.
But they didn't give me an experience.
Oh! There is one thing.
Someday, I ignored my mother and father's saying, so they were angry at me.
After that thing, they ignored my saying either!!
I finally knew that my parents' mind. It was annoying...
I think it was very good to know my fault by real experience.
After that thing, I never ignored my parents' word. In this case, we can easily see that it's more easy to understand my fault by the experience that the punishment or something.

I chose this videos because it's funny. Annoying Orange is very popular because of it's comic.I like this video because the Orange is so funny. My answer will look like baby's answer, but after you see this video, you won't say anything except funny and you'll laugh all the time. I know this video because of the other people. They were laughing and laughing during they were watching the video. I was so curious that I surf the internet right after that thing. I think this video is good because it makes people laugh. Laughing makes you happy, and it's also good for your health.

So I recommend this video to all of you!

This annoying orange is annoying like his name. He makes another fruits annyed. For example, he call the others name continueously even if they answer. There is a video about Cheese, Wassabi, Ghost, Orange in a game, Pasta,Tomato,Pumpkin,Potato, Green Apple,Apple,Bonsai,Walnuts and so on in my blog, as you can see. I enjoyed the apple most because I don't like apple, and it was good to see that the Annoying Orange was playing a trick on Apple. But if the fruits would see it, they would scream because of the knife Which is killing them all the time. 

Careful for the Knife!!! 

Writing Chain / "Back In The Time" By class 21

Hello everyone! I'm in the Writing class with MR. Garrioch. I changed the writing chain because I didn't like it. Today I am going to type about my writing chain and  I will discuss about

"Back In The Time"

If  I could go back in time, I would go back to my mother's birthday and would play her the piano. My mother loves to hear the sound of piano when I'm playing.
At first, I hate playing the piano and my mom desired me to play the piano. As the time past, I started to like playing piano.
But the time that I start liking piano was 3weeks after my mom's birthday. Since than, my mom laughed more, so I regreted 'Ah... It would be good if I liked piano before mom's birthday...'
It's not only that. There are several more reasons that I regret it.

• First, My mom didn't really like the present I gave her. I gave her a jewlery, but I think she had more desire for love and attention of our family to her. Usually, she is very busy because of work and she doesn't have many time to spend with family. Also, when she had the time, the whole family was busy. So I think that she needed more time and attention from us.

• Second, since I was young, I went to Academy and if I didn't like it, I didn't went there again.  But piano Academy was an exception. I told my mom that I didn't want to go there, but she continued the academy! She had much more expectation in piano than other things. And I ruined it! I was so sorry to my mom.

Yesterday was my mom's birthday again but I was in GLPS dormitory, studying in front of my desk!!! I called my mom and said happybirthday.
Next year,
Third, yesterday was my mom's birthday again, but I was in the dormitory studying in front of my desk!!! I called my mom and said happy birthday.
Next year, I'll play her the piano for sure!!!

2011.1.3 My diary

Yesterday and Today



Tis place is so great! All the teachers, friends are all nice. We had a level test through yesterday and today. First was an essay. I think I ruined it.

Second was an Interview and lecture minitest.

How was the essay test? Don't ask me about that! Interview was fun. I laughed and laughed and laughed during an interview but I was so tired I couldn't concentrate in lecture.

The result.... I'm in class 21, intensive class!! I don;t know this is a dream or something. I couldn't believe that I'm in intensive course inspite of all that writing, interview and minitest.

My roommates are in intensive course too. Seo-hui in class 22, Ji-heon in 23, and Ju-yeon in 24.

I'm so expected that I couldn't even sleep! This would be much harder than I thought. But let me show my power and passion and love in studying english to everyone.
